State and Local Civil Rights Resources for Arkansas

Teaches parents throughout Arkansas about their rights under IDEA and how to develop and monitor effective educational plans for their children as well as helps parent network and organize support groups in their communities.

This Disability & Business Technical Assistance Center (DBTAC) provides training and information on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including state and local government responsibilities under Title II of the ADA, as well as information on accessible electronic and information technology for people in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

Enforces many federal civil laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), that prohibit job discrimination. The Memphis District Office has jurisdiction over Arkansas, Tennessee and several counties in Mississippi.
