Alaska chapter of the AARP, which is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all aging adults. Includes information on independent living, benefits, transportation and more.

Advocates for state policy, public and private partnerships, state/federal projects and citizen involvement that assists each of us to age successfully in our homes, in our communities or as near as possible to our communities and families.

Works to advice the Governor's Committee on Disabilities and Special Education on state-wide issues related to developmental disabilities. Committee members are parents of children or adults with developmental disabilities, providers, state agency staff and others who are involved in the systems impacting individuals with developmental disabilities.

Contact information for all ILCs in the state of Alaska. ILCs provide people with disabilities advocacy and support services, including assistance with employment, transportation, housing, health care and living skills.

Improves the quality of life for people with disabilities and the whole community through adaptive sports, therapeutic recreation and education.
