Become more involved with important policy decisions affecting charities. 

Staff at IS member organizations can become more involved with policy issues through our Policy Action Network (PAN), a growing coalition that takes collaborative action on key nonprofit issues in federal, state, and local government. PAN members may participate in our monthly Washington Update and Strategy Roundtable (formerly known as the Legislative and Regulatory Advisory Committee) to receive the latest information on current congressional and regulatory issues and to share strategies about communicating more effectively with members of Congress. PAN members also receive action alerts and breaking news updates about legislative and regulatory issues, and are invited to participate in advocacy training sessions, in-depth briefings, and special task forces and advisory groups working on specific issues and advocacy strategies.
