The mission of the Joint Advisory Committee on Communications Capabilities of Emergency Medical and Public Health Care Facilities ("Joint Advisory Committee") is to examine the communications capabilities and needs of emergency medical and public health care facilities.
The mission of the Independent Panel Reviewing the Impact of Hurricane Katrina on Communications Networks (Katrina Panel or Independent Panel) was to review the impact of Hurricane Katrina on the telecommunications and media infrastructure.
The mission of the Media Security and Reliability Council (MSRC) is to study, develop and report on communications and coordination designed to assure the optimal reliability, robustness and security of the broadcast and multichannel video programming distribution industries in emergency situations.
