The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. 

Approximately 30% of the Chapter's budget is provided by the Grayson & Cooke County United Ways.  The remainder is funded through individual and corporate donations, grants and fees for service.  Assistance provided to the Texoma Area Chapter disaster and military clients is free - a gift of our donors.  All contributions received remain in our three county area - Cooke - Fannin - Grayson - unless the donor designates otherwise.

The Chapter receives no funding from any government entity or from the National American Red Cross (except in a major disaster).
