The Antelope Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross has received a donation of medical and surgical supplies. We are converting those supplies into cash for support of Chapter operations by offering them as premiums in exchange for tax deductible donations. We are requesting a donation equivalent to one-third of the cost.

The Red Cross Mission
The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization, led by volunteers, that provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. It does this through services that are consistent with its congressional charter and Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Cresent Movement:

The Antelope Valley Chapter
The Antelope Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross has jurisdiction over an area of 4,300 square miles, encompassing 40 percent of Los Angeles County and 50 percent of Kern County in southern California. This area includes the military installations of Edwards Air Force Base, China Lake Naval Weapon Center, and Air Force Plant 42.
Services are provided 365 days per year - 24 hours per day. Programs include, but are not limited to:
- Service to the military, veterans, and their families
- Disaster preparedness and relief
- Health and safety education and training
- Youth programs
- Blood
- Community networking
