The following Announcements aim to stimulate R34 research. The following FOA is the NIMH R34 parent FOA. Unless specified below, use this announcement when applying for an NIMH R34 grant.

NIMH has also a series of Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) that describe our interest in some more specific, targeted scientific areas for the R34. See below for a list of those FOAs that include use of the R34 mechanism.
For the following research topic areas, though the announcement does not include a link to specific instruction for applying for an R34 grant, NIMH still solicits R34s in these areas.
