Severe weather became
widespread on February 24, 2001. Several supercells (i.e. storms with
rotating updrafts) developed ahead of a line of strong to severe storms
(with strong to damaging winds)...with many reports of damage
received by the National Weather Service.

Arkansas since January 21-22, 1999 (56 tornadoes). This event occurred
mostly between 330 pm and 645 pm CST. |
