UPPER SIOUX COMMUNITY
MENTAL HEALTH MANAGER/COUNSELOR

Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the mental health needs in the USC.
• Provide a culturally competent counseling/therapy from our agency.
• Network and provide referral services when needed.
• Assist consumers with various needs pertaining to mental health.
• Understand and interpret program budget and justifications.
• Complete all narrative reporting requirements.
• Complete and file all necessary paperwork relevant for payment of services.
• All other duties as assigned for proper service to the consumers.

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in counseling or a related field and able to obtain a Minnesota Licensure
• Possess basic management and planning skills
• Must be knowledgeable about the concepts of Confidentiality and HIPAA
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
• Willing to submit to random drug testing
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background study
