Payment Information

Sure Pay:
Sure Pay allows City of Tempe customers to pay their monthly utility statement through an automatic checking account withdrawal. Just fill out a Sure Pay application form and send it in with a voided check. In one to two billing cycles Sure Pay will make your payment for you.

Payment by Credit Card:
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express credit and debit cards are accepted as valid forms of payment. You can also use your credit card to make payments over the phone. Just call (480) 350-8361 and a customer service representative will be glad to assist you.

Drop Box Locations:
Payments can be made by check at three-drop box locations:

• City Hall complex north parking lot at 20 E. Sixth St.
• Fire Station #3 at 5440 S. McClintock Dr.
• Tempe Public Library at 3500 S. Rural Rd.

Payment Window:                                                                                                        Payments are also accepted at the Customer Service department cashier window, at 20 E. Sixth St.  The municipal building is located on the northeast corner of Mill Ave. and Sixth Street, just behind Urban Outfitters.
