2008-2009 Before and/or After School Program - Community Centers

Program Availability

These types of programs are available at most of our Community Centers.  See list below to find out which type of program (Before and/or After School) is available at the Community Center nearest you.  The Before School Program normally starts at 7am and runs until school starts; times may vary from center to center.  The After School Program starts at all community centers when school is released and continues until 6pm. Again after school starting times may vary from center to center, because all APS schools are released at different times.  Children in Kindergarten (must have proof) through age 12 are eligible to attend this program, but space is limited at most centers.  For additional information contact the nearest Community Center in your area (see list below).

Recreation Program Dates

This program will begin the first day of school and continue through the last day of school. Check with the Community Center and/or school nearest you to verify starting and ending dates.

Registration Date, Time and Place

Registration is held on an ongoing basis at most Community Centers, but space is limited at most Centers. If there is no space available, you can register your child's name on a waiting list. A completed registration form is required on any and all children that attend this program. For safety reasons, a child will not be allowed to participate in the program if the parent or guardian did not complete and submit a registration form for that child.

The Community Centers may also be closed on some days due to the cleaning of the facilities.  On those days, notices will be posted in advance to notify the public of the closing.
