Vendor Self Service (VSS)

To expand the USPTO's Electronic Commerce capabilities, vendors may register to participate in the USPTO's Vendor Self Service (VSS) component. VSS will facilitate electronic communication between the USPTO and the vendors with whom we do business.

VSS registrations are being accepted in anticipation of the initiation of posting simplified acquisition solicitations in VSS.  In April 2007, the USPTO's Office of Procurement will begin to post simplified acquisitions in VSS.  Registered VSS vendors will be able to view simplified acquisition solicitations posted by the USPTO on the VSS website, submit quotes electronically, and receive email notification of award.
