AIDSinfo Drugs Database (AIDSinfo)
The AIDSinfo Drug Database provides fact sheets on HIV/AIDS related drugs. The fact sheets describe the drug's use, pharmacology, side effects, and other information. The database includes: approved and investigational HIV/AIDS related drugs as well as three versions of each fact sheet: patient, health professional, and Spanish. En espanol

AIDS Therapeutics Toxicity Studies (National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, NIH)
The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), under the AIDS research program, collaborates with other institutes of the NIH, other government agencies, and pharmaceutical companies to evaluate the reproductive/developmental toxicity, general toxicity, immunotoxicity and neurotoxicity of AIDS therapeutics.

CDC Medical Monitoring Project (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)
The Medical Monitoring Project (MMP) is a patient survey designed to learn more about the experiences and needs of people who are receiving care for HIV. It is supported by several government agencies and conducted by state and local health departments along with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

ClinicalTrials.gov provides regularly updated information about Federally and privately supported clinical research in human volunteers. ClinicalTrials.gov gives you information about a trial's purpose, who may participate, locations, and phone numbers for more details. The information provided on ClinicalTrials.gov should be used in conjunction with advice from health care professionals.

Food and Drug Administration (FDA) The US Food and Drug Administration's Web site on HIV and AIDS provides information related to the review and oversight role the FDA has related to drugs, biologics and medical devices for the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS, and AIDS-related conditions.

Resource Guide for the Development of AIDS Therapies (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, NIH)
The purpose of this Resource Guide is to assist investigators developing (1) therapies for the treatment of HIV disease, opportunistic infections associated with AIDS, and tuberculosis, and (2) microbicide-based prevention strategies. The Guide contains information about NIH-funded resources (e.g., contracts), grant mechanisms via which investigators may seek their own funding, and points of contact among Division of AIDS (DAIDS) staff whom investigators can contact for additional information.
