NIH AIDS Research and Reference Reagent Program (National Institutes of Health)
The NIH AIDS Reagent Program is a unique worldwide resource of state-of-the art reagents for HIV and other pathogens. Many of these reagents are not commercially available. The Catalog now has over 6,700 reagents for public distribution.

USAID HIV/AIDS Research Resources (USAID)
This resource provides information on USAID’s research-focused efforts to help countries prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. Investing in research to develop new tools and technologies (PDF - 1.3MB) for HIV prevention is a critical part of this effort. USAID collaborates with governmental and non-governmental partners to develop and evaluate safe and effective prevention technologies such as microbicides and vaccines, and to study emerging issues in HIV prevention such as the relationship between male circumcision and HIV transmission.
