Question
Hello, I just wanted to ask that why is Area 51 been hidden even though there is a lot of data regarding it?
So-called Area 51 (Groom Dry Lake) was used as a military test facility for many years; it has been of-limits to visitors for reasons of military security. However, you can get 1-meter resolution images of the area on the Internet. I do not agree that "there is lots of data on it". There is lots of wild speculation, but very little data, and no reason to associate the site with "UFOs" or "aliens". Area 51 has nothing to do with astrobiology, yet I keep getting questions about it sent to "Ask an Astrobiologist." David Morrison
