Office of Global Mental Health (OGMH)
Overview
Coordinates, participates in, and reports on international activities with respect to mental health research. Specific functions include (1) tracking current international grants and activities of all divisions and offices within NIMH; (2) identifying opportunities and establishing partnerships/collaborative agreements with the Fogarty International Center, other NIH ICs, regional and international organizations, other federal agencies and foreign governments; (3) working with NIMH extramural and intramural program staff to develop global projects and provide technical consultation to the international mental health community; and (4) responding to requests for NIMH representation to international committees.
