Overview:
The pursuit of a Geographic Information System (GIS) analysis process involves a number of specific steps. You learn a structured approach to GIS project development, from conceptualization to final results, with special attention to real-life issues you will face at each stage on the job. You apply the structured approach to complete an individual GIS analysis project.

This course is part of the GIS Professional Certificate and the GIS Technical Certificate.

Who Should Attend?
Anyone using GIS software or newly introduced to the technology.

Prerequisites:
An introductory GIS software course: Introduction to GIS Software: ESRI ArcGIS9.x (GIST7000T), or competency with ESRI's ArcGIS9.x software.
