Representative Experience
Serves as Chair of the Corporate Diversity Counseling Group
Represents a wide range of Fortune 500 companies, minority and women-owned businesses, and quasi-governmental agencies in legal matters involving crisis management and diversity representation, complex employment audits, disputes and investigations involving allegations of race or sex discrimination and harassment, as well as business counsel and advice regarding corporate and financial transactions.
Advises and counsels a number of Fortune 200 CEOs whose companies are confronted with highly publicized charges of race and gender discrimination from prominent plaintiff attorneys and/or civil rights groups, as well as related disputes with federal regulatory agencies (e.g. EEOC, Department of Labor OFCCP, local human rights agencies).
Directs confidential corporate diversity compliance reviews, audits, litigation or legal vulnerability assessments and determinations; develops specific recommendations whether and how to proceed with litigation and related community and public relations strategies.
Assists clients in developing best practice diversity initiatives and comprehensive diversity action plans, ranging from executive management and workforce diversity to minority business procurement/supplier diversity, diversity-related government/ community relations, and targeted philanthropic efforts.
