Overview:
Learn advanced concepts in the field of Landscape Design. Construction techniques are explored, including the properties and purposes of the many building and paving materials available in today's market. Through hands-on work in class and research outside of class, each student is expected to learn how to draft site plans, figure in setbacks and permits for site development, take inventory and analysis, and learn how to measure slopes for a real-world client. Two Saturday field trips will be scheduled.

This course is part of the Certificate of Accomplishment in Horticulture and the Certificate of Accomplishment in Landscape Design.
