National and State HIV Hotlines (Aidshotline.org - Funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)
A listing of HIV/AIDS hotlines by state. To receive nationwide test site referrals, counseling, literature (upon request), clinical trials information referrals, and a wide scope of other HIV/AIDS-related resource information, call the National CDC STD/HIV Hotline at (800) 232-4636.

Office for Civil Rights (Health and Human Services)
Persons with HIV/AIDS who believe they have been discriminated against in health care or human services, or believe that their health information privacy rights have been violated, may be eligible to file a complaint with OCR.

Organizations Database (National Prevention Information Network, CDC)
This database lists over 19,000 local, state, and national organizations which provide HIV/AIDS resources and services, including counseling and testing, case management, health care, and support services.

Social Security For People Living With HIV/AIDS (PDF – 64 KB) (Social Security Administration)
This publication provides information on how individuals living with HIV/AIDS can qualify for and obtain Social Security benefits.
