DNA Repair & Mitochondrial Damage Group

The DNA Repair & Mitochondrial Damage Group conducts several research studies within the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics. For more information, please click the following links to individual project pages.

Crystal structure of UvrB showing the following domains: 1a–yellow, 1b–green, 2–purple, 3–red, β-hairpin–cyan. hTERT is targeted to both the nucleus and the mitochondria. A human cell stained with mitotracker (red) and co-localized with hTERT-green fluorescene protein fusion (green). The orange/yellow shows co-localization of hTERT in mitochondria, and the nucleus stains green due to nuclear targeting of hTERT.
