We had a very smooth on-site peer review in Baltimore. We are now entering the staff review stage that will run through mid-March. Program officers will be primarily focusing their attention on a quality review of the new/recompete applications. We will endeavor to maintain high customer service to you. Please be patient as we work to meet your immediate needs during this critical stage of review.
2008 Executive Directors Conference
Thanks to all of you who have provided feedback to us on preferred dates for the 2008 Executive Directors Conference. It is not possible to meet everyone’s ideal schedule, and we have selected tentative dates that are conducive to the largest number of responses we received. The tentative dates for the conference are Thursday and Friday, September the 18th and 19th. A pre-conference orientation would be held on Wednesday, September the 17th for new Executive Directors. The dates are tentative as we are currently conducting a facilities search. We expect the search to be completed within the next couple of weeks and will confirm the dates with you then.
