NGDC is active in many international programs. Through this international exchange, scientists around the world have access to global databases.

World Data Centers

NGDC operates a collocated World Data Center in each of its scientific disciplines:

The World Data Center System is operated by the International Council for Science (ICSU).

Global Land One-km Base Elevation (GLOBE) Project

NGDC distributes data from the

International Bathymetric Mapping Programs & Projects
