The collection consists of material assembled by Jaroslav Nemec as part of his work at the National Library of Medicine. Included are short biographies of important figures in forensic medicine, a directory of institutes of legal medicine, and correspondence and other material resulting from a project to identify all conferences, congresses, and meetings on legal medicine.
