FY 2009 Proposal Workshop



CDMP is pleased to announce "CDMP '09 - A NOAA Worksop for Submitting FY09 CDMP Task Proposals." This year's workshop will be held November 5th and 6th, 2008 in Santa Cruz, California. Hosting this year's Workshop is NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service, Fisheries Ecology Division.

Proposal Process Guidelines


If you have a project which might qualify for CDMP funding, please see this PDF booklet, paying particular attention to those deadlines and requirements that may apply to you. Proposals/task orders must be submitted electronically to Tom Ross, Program Manager, by October 1, 2008. The preferred formats are Microsoft Word or a PDF document.

Continuing Projects
If your proposal is a continuing one without many changes or additional tasks, then you can submit a continuation proposal.
Continuing Projects with Modifications
If your proposal is continuing but contains new projects, a modified task order will be needed to accommodate the new projects listed in the proposal.
New Projects
If your proposal is new, a proposal and task order should be submitted as one final document.

Proposals will be judged against the following criteria:

  • Supports NOAA's strategic goals
  • Contribution to improved data access and rescue
  • General merit to the overall program
  • Cost effectiveness
  • Application to services provided by contractors
