Vera Rubin Presents at Today's Scientific
Colloquium
Who:
Dr. Vera Rubin, Department of Terrestrial Magnetism, Carnegie Institution
of Washington will present on the topic entitled, "A Brief
History of Dark Matter." Dr. Rubin will discuss the early history
and the observations that led to the conclusion that most of the
matter in the universe is dark and briefly examine alternatives
to a universe in which most of the matter is not radiating.
