As you know, we have been accepting continuation requests for FY ’06 on a rolling basis. For FY ’07, however all continuation requests will have the same due date: February 15, 2007. As a result, those of you with FY ’06 program years that do not begin until the 2007 calendar year, are caught in the transition between the two different continuation processes.
In order to get the remaining FY 06 continuation grants awarded prior to the beginning of the FY 07 application review process, we are establishing a final due date for FY 2006 continuations. Please submit your continuation request by 5:00 PM eastern time on January 4, 2007.
FY ’07 Grant Application and Review Process
If you are currently in year 1 of a three-year grant cycle and you are making adequate process, we will combine your year 2 and year 3 grants into one when we award your FY ’06 continuation grant. Your next application wouldn’t be due until you are recompeting in the FY ’08 competition.
We will be hosting a technical assistance call for all interested continuation applicants on Friday, November 17th at 1pm EST. The conference call will address continuing application requirements, as well as to answer any questions you may have about the process. We hope that you will be able to join us at that time. The call will be recorded in case you are not able to participate. Call-in and replay information is listed below.
