The National Resource Center on AD/HD: A Program of CHADD is the nation's clearinghouse for science-based information about all aspects of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD). Funded through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the NRC provides information on this disorder which affects how millions of children and adults function on a daily basis. The NRC was created to meet the information needs of professionals and the general public.

What's New on the Site?

• New Statement on AD/HD and Recovery: CHADD's Professional Advisory Board has issued a statement on the concept of recovery for people with AD/HD. 
• Ask the Expert: On May 13, from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm, Eastern, Ari Tuckman, PsyD will chat online about AD/HD and Money Management. The chat transcript will be available to CHADD members one week after the chat. Check the chat schedule regularly for information on future chats.
• AD/HD and Medication in the News, (March 27, 2009): See the CHADD Leadership Blog's discussion of current news stories about the most recent update to the MTA Study.
• Information on Teens with AD/HD Now Available: Our newest What We Know information sheets offer information for both Teens with AD/HD and Parents of Teens with AD/HD.
• Search the updated NRC Library for books and scientific articles about AD/HD.
• CHADD Educator's Manual available in the CHADD Store:
