Official NWS forecast for
Tropical Pacific SST for MJJ 1999 thru MJJ 2000.
This SST
forecast has been made experimentally at CPC/NWS since September 1992. Official
operational NWS forecasts for Tropical Pacific SST commenced in December 1994. The
forecast is issued once a month at mid-month. Inclusion of other methods and expansion of
the forecast to other areas are to be expected as technology and resources permit.
