Bibliographic Search Tool

Searches are done in the Matrix Market BibTeX bibliography, a list of references related to the matrices distributed by the Matrix Market. The complete set of references may also be browsed in HTML form. There are approximately 140 entries at present.

Formulating Queries

Just type a sequence of words. Articles that contain all of these words in their biblographic database entries will be found. Searching is case insensitive. Partial word matching is not currently supported.

Scan the raw BibTeX biliographic database file to see the types of words that are found there.

The words `and', `or' and 'not' may be used to formulate Boolean queries. These are processed strictly from left to right. Nots apply only to the closest term. For example

john or bill and sam is processed as (john OR bill) AND sam
john and not bill or sam is processed as ((john AND (NOT bill)) OR sam

Note also that parentheses are not supported in queries.
