Certified Utility Safety Administrator Program (CUSA)

The Certified Utility Safety Administrator Program (CUSA) provides formal recognition to utility industry safety administrators for their experience and knowledge of safety practices. It is the first industry-oriented safety certification offering individual professional recognition to those in the utility safety profession. CUSAis managed and directed by the National Safety Council and its Utilities Division.

As of 07/21/08, the CUSA exam is under standard review and will be unavailable until the revision is complete. Per CUSA practice, an approved applicant has one (1) year to take the exam. Should an applicant’s deadline for taking the exam occur before the revised examination is ready, please alert Pam Johnson and we will issue you a special extension. CUSA Shirts

UPDATE: Exclusive NSC CUSA Shirt Order Information

CUSA shirts are now available for individual order directly through Creative Resources, the shirt vendor. When ordering your Exclusive National Safety Council CUSA Shirts, please note that Discover and American Express credit cards will no longer be accepted. Acceptable forms of payment include: check, money order, Visa, or MasterCard.

The shirts are currently available in Men’s and Women’s sizes in 3 styles: long-sleeved denim oxford, long-sleeved white oxford, and short-sleeved white polo, all with the embroidered NSC logo on the left sleeve, and the embroidered CUSA logo on the upper front left panel of the shirt (see image below).
