Mission Statement
The Administrative Management Branch (AMB) provides administrative services to the Intramural Research Program of the National Institute on Drug Abuse. These services include personnel management, budget planning and fiscal management, procurement and supply, contract management, occupational and environmental health and safety, housekeeping and janitorial, design, fabrication, maintenance and repair of scientific equipment. The Branch is responsible for fiscal aspects of planning and program development, management and day-to-day operations noted above and implementation of management policies governing the Intramural Research Program. The Chief, AMB advises the Scientific Director in administering the Intramural Research Program, advises and represents the Scientific Director with respect to all program budgetary, fiscal and management aspects.
