Overview:
Learn to apply appropriate tools and techniques to effectively perform audits in this new environment. Automation has caused changes in the audit trail. Building on concepts presented in Information Technology for Auditors (AUDT8024G) and Information Systems Auditing (AUDT8029G), you concentrate on the evidence inside of the computer and on entire transactions that are initiated and processed by computers. Subject matter includes scope, definition and planning; evaluating controls; and e-Business/EDI considerations.
Who Should Attend?
Auditors with experience in performance auditing. Level: Journeyman.
Prerequisites:
Information Technology for Auditors (AUDT8024G) and Information Systems Auditing (AUDT8029G), or equivalent.
