United States Environmental Protection Agency Office of Transportation and Air Quality December 13, 2001 EPA's Office of Transportation and Air Quality funded the development of a five day MOBILE6 training course. This course was presented in Seattle during the week of September 10, 2001. Contained in this folder are the following three sets of files: (1) A 195 page PowerPoint presentation given during the first day of that five day course. This one-day session consists of a basic introduction to on-road emissions modeling and MOBILE6 and can serve as a stand-alone class for managers and others who will not perform analyses using the model. (See file sldday1.pdf or sldday1.ppt) (2) The manual developed for this five-day course. This training manual is given in five "pdf" files. (See files man_dayx.pdf, where x=1,2,3,4,5.) (3) During the second through fifth days of the training, numerous examples were worked in class. The examples are given in the training manual. The solutions to those examples are given in four "pdf" files. (See files ex_dayx.pdf, where x=2,3, 4,5.) Additionally, The user may correctly observe that the PowerPoint presentation appears to have an audio track (that was not included). This audio track requires an additional 28 "mpg" files totaling about one gigabyte. If you require this feature, please email us at: MOBILE@epa.gov and we will mail you a pair of CD ROMs containing the necessary files.
