ALBENI COVE (ID)DescriptionAlbeni Cove Recreation Area is located 500 yards upstream of Albeni Falls
Dam on the Pend Oreille. The campground offers 14 campsites (no-hookups)
situated amongst firs, cedars, and pines overlooking the Pend Oreille
(pond o'ray). Other amenities include a boat ramp, swim beach, hot
showers, and small picnic area. Bald eagles, osprey, a wide variety of
birds, bear, deer, skunks, and porcupines may be seen in and around Albeni
Cove. The boat ramp and swim beach may be closed due to high water
especially during May and June.

Follow the paved road until it turns into a very rough dirt road. Stay on the dirt road bearing left at the fork in the road. At the power lines the road will turn back to paved.
