Events such as tornadoes, earthquakes, floods, severe winter weather, hazardous material spills, or acts of terrorism can be a threat to our lives, our homes, and our families. ADEM encourages citizens to be proactive against disaster. Develop a family emergency supply kit and communication plan before disaster strikes. The most important thing individuals can do is to "Be aware, Get prepared!"
