Developing cloud liquid water.

Background

I have been working on the above mentioned problems for the last 25 years. With several colleagues as co-authors, I have written over 60 refereed articles on various aspects of physical parameterizations that are employed in a Global Climate Model. Currently, I am actively working on reducing model-physics biases caused by some intrinsic simplifications of the physical processes that are designed to simulate the real atmosphere and land-atmosphere interactions. Specifically, these consist of all moist processes including clouds and aerosols as well as earth-atmosphere interactions comprising of land-atmosphere fluxes involving the biosphere, snow-cover, and hydrology.
