Registration Information for Rx Refill
My HealtheVet (MHV) is pleased to offer VA online Rx Refill to veterans.
VA Rx Refill is the number one electronic service that veterans request. This My HealtheVet service is available from anywhere using the Internet, and offers a very easy way to refill your VA prescriptions. Type http://www.myhealth.va.gov into your browser to display the VA Home page, as shown below.
Then, from the menu on the left of the page, select Health Care > My HealtheVet (see yellow boxes above) to display the My HealtheVet Home page, similar to that shown below.
NOTE: The Rx Refill function of My HealtheVet
All of the above must be in conformance with your VA record to ensure that you can refill your prescriptions with Rx Refill online.
When the Congratulations window appears immediately after registration, click on log in, as in graphic below, to login as a first time MHV user.
When the Home page appears, enter your User ID and Password into the Member Login area (on the right side of the Home page).
After registration, return to the Home page and enter your User ID and Password into the Member Login area.
Then click on Pharmacy > Rx Refill > Refill Prescriptions as shown in steps 1-3 in the graphics below.
Those who have previously used Rx Refill can login by entering their User ID and Password into the Member Login area (as shown below) on the My HealtheVet Home page.
Then click on Quick Links > Rx Refill (on the right side of the Home page) to quickly access your prescription information in the Refill Prescription Information page.
On the Rx Refill tab, click the Refill Prescriptions link to display the Refill Prescription Information dialog. The prescriptions that are currently Active, and that are available for refill are displayed with an empty checkbox, as shown below in the yellow boxes.
NOTES:
To refill a prescription, click in the checkbox of the medication to be refilled and then click the red Submit Refills button at the bottom of the form. NOTE: Be sure to click Submit Refills after selecting your refills to ensure that your request is processed free of errors.
When refill requests have been submitted, an alert that your request has been submitted is shown at the top of the dialog. In the example below, the two requested refills (in yellow boxes) are labeled Submitted, meaning that your request has been received for processing.
An Active prescription that can be refilled will still appear onscreen with an empty checkbox.
Click the Prescription Number (in dialog above) to display a dialog similar to the one below with more detailed prescription information. For information on other prescriptions, click on the red Return to List button to return to the Refill Prescription Information dialog shown above.
For more information to understand Rx Refill, click the Help link to access MHV Help.
If MHV is unable to refill your prescriptions, an error message will appear offering instructions, as in the example below with message in yellow box.
