Announcements

Matt Schmader announced the pilot project “Ditches with Trails”. A workshop will be conducted on Dec. 6, 7 and 8th, 2007.   

Overview of Open Space Acquisition Program          Jay Hart

Jay Hart presented a map for the board to refer to while he talked about the land Acquisition. Hart went over the following land acquisitions;

  • Gutierrez Canyon
  • Wal-Mart Property
  • Hawk Watch Property
  • Volcano Heights

  • Hidden Valley
  • Valle Del Sol
  • Cerro Colorado Volcano

A motion was made, seconded and approved for board member Nathan Newcomer to write a letter on behalf of the board to the City Councilors regarding the Wal-Mart property. It was suggested by Jay Hart that the OSAB go over the priority list.
