Alerts and Important Information
A maximum of 2 reservations per person/family/party may be booked per visit.
This facility has NO First Come First Served sites.
- A $15.00 entrance fee is required in addition to camping fees.
- Campers must check in at Ranger Station upon arrival.
- Late arrivals must check in or call before 11:00 a.m. next morning or forfeit campsite.
- Wild ponies roam free on the Island. Store food in latchable hardsided cooler or vehicles to make it inaccessible to wildlife.
- Extreme conditions of mosquitoes/biting insects. Bring insect repellent with deet.
- Intense Sun - bring sunblock.
- Sandy campsites. Bring longer than normal tent stakes.
- All campfires must be contained in grill. Firewood from quarantined states and counties prohibited (See Bug Alert).
- Pets must be leashed and may not be left unattended.
- Quiet hours 10PM-6AM.

Follow US RT. 50 east to MD RT. 611 south. Proceed over Verrazano Bridge. Take first right onto BayBerry Drive. Continue 2-1/4 miles to entrance station. Pay entrance fee. Take second left to
ranger office to register and check in.
