NIH uses this list of codes
to indicate the extent of research animal
involvement within a grant application. The codes can refer to missing
information, insufficient procedures, peer review concerns, or the
fact
that all issues have been resolved and the award can be processed. They
appear on the summary
statements
grantees receive, and also on the grants
management and program
officer
worksheets in IMPAC
II.
