  • NewCognitive Behavioral Therapy for Pediatric Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
    Interventional study. This study will examine the way cognitive behavioral therapy changes the structure of the brain in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder and will thereby determine what makes cognitive behavioral therapy an effective treatment. Ages 6-18. Location in Los Angeles, CA.
  • Evaluating the Effects of Stress in Pregnancy.
    Evaluation study. This study will evaluate pregnant women with a past or current diagnosis of depression or anxiety to gain a better understanding of how these disorders can affect an infant's development, both during and after pregnancy. Ages 18-45. Location in Atlanta, GA.
  • Antidepressant Safety in Kids Study.
    Evaluation study. This study will evaluate the risks and benefits of treatment with a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor or serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor in children and adolescents with a pre-specified anxiety disorder, depressive disorder, eating disorder, or obsessive-compulsive disorder.   • Treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in Children.
    Interventional study. This study will determine whether cognitive behavioral therapy delivered by either psychologists or psychiatrists can improve the effectiveness of serotonin reuptake inhibitor treatment in children with obsessive compulsive disorder.   • Genetics of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
