Along with NRCS staff and partners, the volunteers researched fishways, planned and developed alternatives for the site, prepared construction specifications, a design, and a cost estimate for the project.  Over the course of the project, NRCS and partner agency engineering and resources staffs provided reference material, technical guidance, and assistance to the students.  They also surveyed the project site and monitored the students' progress.
