MEMORANDUM
TO: Designated Agency Ethics Officials
FROM: Joseph E. Gangloff, Deputy Director
SUBJECT: Annual Survey of Ethics Officials
Early next week, the Office of Government Ethics (OGE) will launch its annual Survey of Ethics Officials. The purpose of this survey is to provide OGE with insights into the practices and needs of executive branch agency ethics officials. The information gathered in this survey will enhance OGE’s ability to more closely integrate its goals with the needs of agency ethics officials.
Survey invitations will be e-mailed to the Designated Agency Ethics Official (DAEO), Alternate DAEO, and other high-level agency ethics contacts throughout the executive branch. The survey will be open for only two weeks.
Please note that OGE is working with a contractor to administer the survey. Be alert for an e-mail from EOS@Raosoftsurveys.com inviting you to complete the survey. Survey responses will be anonymous. The information supplied will not be associated with specific individuals or with specific agencies.
The survey will be available from October 24, 2007 through November 7, 2007. If you do not receive the survey invitation e-mail on October 24 or have any questions, please contact Dale Christopher, Associate Director for Program Reviews, at 202-482-9224 or by e-mail at dachrist@oge.gov.
