MEMORANDUM

TO: Designated Agency Ethics Officials

FROM: Barbara A. Mullen-Roth Associate Director for Education

SUBJECT: Ethics Information Center Survey

Attached is a survey designed to assess the usefulness of the Office of Government Ethic's (OGE) Ethics Information Center (EIC). The EIC serves as a repository for all types of ethics training materials developed and contributed by OGE and other Federal agencies. OGE is conducting this survey to determine how the EIC might better serve your needs and those of the Federal ethics training community at large.

In order to achieve this purpose, it is crucial that we obtain input from members of your ethics staff. Your staff's input is important whether or not they have ever used, visited, or even heard of the EIC, so please ensure that copies of the survey are distributed to every staff member you believe may have useful information to provide. The survey will take only a few minutes to complete. Respondents should submit their completed surveys directly to OGE. Please note that this survey is intended for completion by Federal employees only.

Thank you for facilitating this important effort. The results of the survey will be discussed in a future issuance of the Government Newsgram.
