Deferred Compensation

The King County Employees Deferred Compensation Plan is a voluntary retirement savings plan designed to supplement your state retirement. The deferred compensation plan allows you to defer a portion of your county pay to a variety of investment options before taxes are deducted, reducing your taxable pay now and helping you save for the future.

It's Finally Here! – The King County Employees Deferred Compensation Fair

Join Professor Investor on April 2, 2008, for a fun and educational experience at the King County Employees Deferred Compensation Fair! No matter where you see yourself in retirement, the fair will give you knowledge to help you get there. And, if you’re not yet a plan participant, attending the fair is a great way to get started!

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Meet with representatives from all of your investment providers

  • Attend special seminars, demonstrations and presentations for experienced and novice participants

  • Ask questions and learn about the plan

  • Pick up special giveaways

  • Enter a drawing for a chance to win prizes.
  • For more information, check out the details and schedule of events in this invitation or contact Plan Coordinator Moneca Allen at 206-263-9250 or moneca.allen@kingcounty.gov.

    Current for 2008.
