The Resource Center is a one-stop resource for seniors, people with disabilities and their families, that provides information and assistance on everything from adaptive clothing to volunteer opportunities, from physical fitness to hospice care.

Staff can answer questions and help you gain access to: insurance; benefits and prescription drug assistance; transportation; legal services; nursing home quality of care and complaints; care coordination and management; attendant services; and caregiver resources.

The resource center integrates several existing Aging and Long-Term Services Department programs—its benefits and counseling program, Seniors Saving Medicare, MEDBANK, and portions of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program.

Are you a provider? Be part of the solution.

If you provide services to seniors, people with disabilities or their families, we want you in our database. Let us know if your organization, program or business:

  • Provides services to the community in at least one of the resource center service categories (click here to view the list);

  • Is certified or licensed by the appropriate levels of government when required;

  • Is in compliance with any established, applicable local, state or federal laws and regulations;

  • Is established in your community, as demonstrated by providing service for at least three months, showing evidence of an established and approved service site, and showing evidence of community involvement in or oversight of the service (i.e. a board of directors or letters of reference) when no licensing certification or regulations exist;

  • Supplies requested information and other updates for the resource center database in an accurate and timely manner; and

  • Provides services without regard to race, color, religion, sexual preference or national origin.

In the case of for-profit businesses, you will be listed if you provide a unique service that helps seniors and people with disabilities maintain their independence. For example, all grocery stores in a community will not be listed, but all grocery stores that deliver groceries to homes will be listed.
