COMMITTEE ON REACTOR SAFETY |

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Advisory Committee on Reactor Safety will hold a public meeting on July 7 - 9, 2004, in Rockville, Md. The Committee will discuss, among other items, the NRC staff’s final safety evaluation report on a new Westinghouse reactor design and a draft final generic letter to licensees regarding possible clogging of the reactor building sump at pressurized water reactors during design-basis accidents. The meeting will be held in Room T-3B2 of the agency’s Two White Flint North building, at 11545 Rockville Pike. It will begin at 8:30 a.m. each day, and all discussions will be open to the public.
