ACRS SUBCOMMITTEE TO MEET ON REACTOR POWER UPRATES ON JUNE 12


The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) Subcommittee on Thermal-Hydraulic Phenomena has scheduled a meeting on June 12 in Rockville, Maryland, to discuss issues associated with nuclear power plant applications for power uprates.

The meeting, which will be partially closed to the public, will be held in Room T-2B3 of the agency's Two White Flint North building, at 11545 Rockville Pike, beginning at 8:30 a.m. It will include presentations and discussions with representatives of the NRC staff, General Electric Nuclear Energy, the ACRS staff, and other interested persons. Portions of the meeting will be closed to public attendance to discuss proprietary information related to General Electric Nuclear Energy.

Persons planning to attend this meeting are encouraged to contact Mr. Boehnert one or two working days prior to the meeting to determine if there have been any schedule changes.
