The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is making available today its budget
request to Congress for Fiscal Year 2002 (October 1, 2001, to September
30, 2002). A limited number of press copies (NUREG-1100, Volume 17) are
available by calling the Office of Public Affairs (OPA) at 301-415-8200.
Pick-ups may be made at the agency's One White Flint Building at 11555
Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland (across from the Metro Red Line's
White Flint station). The document will also be available on the NRC's
web site at http://www.nrc.gov/NRC/planning.html or may be purchased from
the Government Printing Office, telephone 202-512-1800. All media inquiries
about the budget should be made directly to OPA.
